Windows (Venice)

When I travel, my senses and awareness are heightened. New places are exciting, but there's uneasiness, too. Leaving familiar worlds for the unfamiliar, a curious overlay exists where perceptions about the present are interpreted through the lens of memory and the past. Using the window as a motif, these projects investigate ways in which we frame, contain and screen, when looking through, into or out at the world.
