Pomegranate

Associated with fertility, fecundity and mortality, the pomegranate has been present in religions and myths since antiquity. In the story of Persephone and Demeter, for example, Persephone consumes its seeds and thus, nature's 4 seasons are created. This project explores romantic relationships and interactions between lovers. As a story unfolds, the pomegranates seem to couple and uncouple.
